The places will be listed on this web site closer to the date of March 31.
At the precinct meetings, precinct officers are elected: a man, a woman, and a youth (under 35).
The precinct officers attend the Franklin County Convention (2008 county convention, held in the
Franklin County Circuit Courtroom, is pictured above). The 2012 meeting place has not yet been determined.
This reorganization year the date is Saturday, April 14, promptly at 10 a.m.
At the County Convention, ten men and ten women are elected by the precinct officers.

The Franklin County Convention also elects delegates to the State Democratic Convention.
This reorganization year the date is Saturday, June 2 at the Louisville Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center.
The number of county delegates is determined by the number of registered Democrats in the county,
and how many of the registered Democrats voted in recent elections.

They will serve until the next reorganization year. The Central Committee members are chosen by
Congressional District, except for at large members, who are elected by all state delegates.
At 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, delegates to the National Democratic Convention
are chosen.
